Treating & Managing Cervical and Lumbar Radiculopathies

Symptoms of Cervical and Lumbar radiculopathies range from simple pain to  paresthesias, or weakness or much more.  Differentiation of neuropathic vs nociceptive vs nocioplastic pain syndromes  is essential in deploying the proper treatment regime.

Proper evaluation of your patient experiencing these symptoms is essential.  Detailed diagnostic & treatment systems can identify the pathology and treatment getting better results.

In this seminar, you’ll learn:

1. The examination process for each area: cervical, upper thoracic, lumbar spine

2. Treatments and treatment protocols for these areas using a full system.

3. How you can apply what you learn in your office the next day and elicit better functional outcomes for your patients

4. A comprehensive review of the current research for each condition.

Revelations in Cancer & Chiropractic Treatment

Over the last decade there has been a remarkable increase in the number of scientific conferences and societies that focus almost exclusively on tumor metabolism and growth factors associated with metabolic signaling. Of particular relevance is the intersection of metabolism with epigenetic control and metabolic reprogramming of aberrant signaling pathways that promote the Warburg effect. This renewed interest in the cause and consequences of the Warburg effect has invigorated cancer research and promises to redirect our efforts down a path that will translate into more effective cancer treatment and prevention strategies.

Empowering the Chiropractic Treatment: Neural Control, Mechanical Stability & Consciousness

This program will enhance the doctor’s awareness of consciousness and science as it relates to treating the nervous system. The doctor will know more fully the relationship between the nervous system and various functions throughout the body including: proprioception, reflexes, the aberrant nervous system, the neurological system and mechanisms that work with function in order to better treat his patients.

It is through your nervous system that your true potential is fueled.

The nervous system influences whatever it can control. This involves glandular function (hormones & immunity), digestion, elimination, movement, as well as thought and emotion. These functions are vital for our health.

Myofascial Disruption Technique & Workshop

Myofascial Disruption Technique is a hands on soft tissue method of treatment that is based on science and the understanding of how soft tissue breaks down, how to identify what is broken down, and exactly how to fix it. There are 7 specific soft tissue conditions that can be clearly identified and successfully treated with very straightforward principals.

This course will clearly demonstrate the principles that will tell you exactly what and how to treat the condition for a very rapid response. After reviewing the science, the very specific conditions are discussed and treatment is demonstrated on live patients.

Analysis of the Stress Response Effects on Vertebral Subluxations

We live in a fast pace, stress filled society leading to cascade of potentially negative neurological effects on the body. The vertebral subluxation significantly adds to this allostatic load.

Thoroughly understanding these mechanisms allows the Chiropractor to have a greater appreciation of the various health issues that their patients are presenting with as well as the role that correcting the vertebral subluxation plays in helping them.

Dr. Humberg will be teaching very specific and accurate methods of analyzing vertebral subluxations in this hands-on program. You’ll learn the why and what we look in various forms of analysis, including neurological concepts, static palpation, motion palpation, various muscle testing, reflex testing, leg checks and more.

Nerve Entrapments & How To Treat Them Successfully

Nerve Entrapments & How To Treat Them Successfully

This course will focus primarily on functional pathologies and treatment as it relates to nerve entrapment

Peripheral nerve entrapments can occur in multiple locations along the extraspinal extent of the nerve – between the intervertebral foramen and the most distal nerve endings in the extremities. The most frequent symptom of locomotor system adaptation/dysfunction is pain. The structure that most frequently expresses pain is the muscle with its trigger points and painful attachments. Treatment must address the etiology causing the nerve compression.

Dr. Carter will teach what to look for when you take the history and perform the physical exam. He will show you how to correctly identify and treat nerve entrapments successfully. You will learn the compression of different nerve types and symptoms associated with each that you can treat successfully, then move on to how to best treat them and help your patients.
